Acai Bowl
I was recently at a great eatery called Nectar. For a quick snack, my kids and I ordered an Acai bowl and it was delish. It was expensive so we all shared it. Since they all loved it and wanted MORE, I decided to recreate it at home. You can customize it and add toppings that you like.
Acai Bowl is packed with vitamins, fruit, seeds and natural sweeteners like local raw honey and fruit. My kids and hubby gobble this up and I know that I have started their day off on the right foot.
You will need
Sambazon Acai Berry frozen packs
Organic Almond milk (or any non-dairy milk of choice)
Organic Bananas
Organic Strawberries
Organic Blueberries
Raw Organic Sprouted Pumpkin Seeds
Flax Seeds
Local Raw Honey
Hemp Seeds
Organic Granola (gluten free)
Organic Frozen Fruit (Mango, Strawberries, Blueberries etc)
Directions
Add Acai pack
1 banana
1 tsp flax seeds
1 cup any frozen fruit
1/4 - 1/2 cup almond milk into a blender
(keep adding milk for desired thickness).
Blend until incorporated and mixture is a
thick ice-cream like consistency.
Pour in a bowl and add granola, sliced berries, bananas and blueberries. Top with pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds and granola.
Drizzle a little honey on top and you have an excellent breakfast packed with vitamins and nutrients. This is also dairy and gluten free!
